As a loyal veteran supporter owned, and veteran ran business, we’re proud to launch the Battle Bag Program, designed to show support to veterans and their loyal animal companions.

What is the Battle Bag Program?

The Battle Bag Program is a way for people to purchase a special bag of high-quality pet treats to be sent to veterans who have a dog or cat battle buddy in their lives. Every time a Battle Bag is purchased, a veteran’s furry friend gets a special treat as a thank you for their hard work and dedication to bettering their humans life.

How Does It Work?

1. Nominate a Veteran:

If you know a veteran who has a furry battle buddy, nominate them to receive a free Battle Bag. Simply submit their name and contact information, and they will be added to our list of nominees.

We also work with local VA centers, American Legions, and other Veteran organizations to find nominees.

2. Who qualifies?

We are not checking paperwork, DD-214s or verifying military service, pet ownership, or if the pet is a service animal, emotional support animal, or just a pet. Any pet can enrich a veterans quality of life and we think they're all equally deserving despite their official title. We are using the honor system. Any US military veteran or current service member with a dog or cat is eligible. Our treats are dehydrated raw meat and vital organs, so any pet that can eat that can qualify.

3. Random Winner Selection:

Once a Battle Bag is purchased, we’ll use a random number generator to pick a veteran from our nominee list. The lucky vet and their service animal will receive a free bag of treats as a token of appreciation. Once they have been selected, they will be removed from rotation for a duration of time necessary to give all on the list a fair shot, ie 6 months.

4. Send Directly to a Specific Veteran:

If you know a specific veteran with a pet, and would like to send a Battle Bag directly to them, we can accommodate that too! Just let us know their details, and we’ll take care of the rest.

5. Personalized Anonymous Note:

Want to include a message with the Battle Bag? You can add an anonymous note of encouragement and support to your purchase. Your kind words will be included with the package, brightening a veteran’s day and strengthening the bond of appreciation between our community and veterans. We also work with our local community to receive letters to send with every bag.

Pricing & Shipping:

Local Pickup:

For support of local veterans in our community, customers can purchase a Battle Bag for just $5. We will then drop it off to a veteran in our community. If you are in our area and would like to help deliver, please reach out. The more help we get, the more help we can give.

Shipping to Veterans:

If you’d like to send a Battle Bag directly to a veteran, the cost is $10 to cover the shipping fees. We want to make sure every veteran gets a chance to receive a treat, and though we aspire to eventually cover these shipping costs, this small shipping fee helps us ensure we can keep the program running smoothly until we get to that point.

We believe in giving back, and this program is our way of supporting veterans and their amazing pets who work tirelessly for our country. Every Battle Bag purchased not only brings joy to a deserving veteran’s pet but also helps foster a sense of community and gratitude. These floofs can be the only life line that some veterans have, and the dogs, cats, chickens, alligators or whatever deserve to be spoiled for their unconditional love and service, just as the veterans deserve their love.
