Cassie started Mamma T’s Treats when searching for healthier options for her puppers. It quickly grew and evolved into the Bird Dog Treats we know and love today!

She started working with dogs as a dog trainer specializing in hunting, tracking, and reactive dogs. She rescued her Duchess from Lollipop Farm and Duchess repaid the favor by helping her raise her next 4 dogs.

Unhappy with the unnecessary amount of preservatives and fillers in commercially available treats for her growing furry family, she started Mamma T's Treats. After seeing how much her own dogs love them, and seeing their coat quality improve seemingly overnight, she brought them to work for her clients. After they all went bonkers, Cassie knew she was onto something.

Eventually she had to make the hard decision to stop training dogs, and focus on the treats and chews, but she never looked back.

With more and more people hearing about Mamma T’s and trying to find us online, only to discover we are definitely not the only Mamma T around, and that is when Bird Dog was born.

Besides the obvious that bird dogs are awesome, we selected this name because we are the Bird Dogs. We personally go to every named farm we work with to ensure their animals know clean love, providing the most nutritious food for your fury family member.

Then along came Amanda. She got sick, doctors couldn't figure it out and labeled it Gulf War Syndrome from a previous military deployment. She started raising her own food and found a drastic relief of symptoms.

But she could not sleep at night, Amanda is an animal lover and she did not feel like she was doing them justice. She feeds everyone the best locally milled feed she could find. Pine creeks Original Feeds Non-GMO, soy free feed. She put everyone on grass with the limited sunshine Upstate New York has to offer. She moves them daily so they don't get bored. However she still felt she wasn't properly honoring them by only consuming the typical stuff.

Wanting 100% utilization of her animals just as our ancestors did sent her on a quest that united Cassie and Amanda together.

Now we are an unstoppable team driven to feed your pets the cleanest food around while treating their food like family as well.
